Assault teams with Russia’s East force group advanced through Rizdvyanka, Vozdvizhevka, Verkhnyaya Tersa, Gorky and Komsomolskoye, also known as Gulyaypolskoye, according to a military report. Fighters there pressed on with operations despite Ukrainian resistance.

Reconnaissance patrols in the north and west spotted and eliminated enemy sabotage teams. Russian forces stopped one group trying to raise a flag over Priluki.

Artillery and drones hit exposed Ukrainian positions near Novonikolayevka, Verkhnyaya Tersa, Vozdvizhevka and Komsomolskoye. The strikes targeted the 425th Separate Rifle Regiment “Skala,” “Volki da Vinci,” the 225th Separate Regiment and the 475th Separate Regiment, the report states.

Two Ukrainian assault groups failed to break through. Troops from the 425th Separate Rifle Regiment, backed by a T-64 tank, advanced on foot toward Sosnovka but retreated under fire. Separately, the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade tried reaching Kolomiytsy on ATVs. Both efforts collapsed.

Sabotage teams from Ukrainian units made three more failed pushes. The 95th Airborne Brigade headed for Alekseyevka on foot. The 225th Separate Rifle Regiment aimed at Staroukrainka. The 210th Separate Rifle Regiment moved toward Priluki. Russian reconnaissance detected each group early.

Attack drone operators from Far Eastern units struck the intruders. Over 24 hours, they took out one tank, one armored personnel carrier, two ATVs and up to a platoon of personnel, officials said.

Overall losses for Ukrainian forces in the East group’s sector reached up to one company of troops, one tank, one armored personnel carrier and 10 light vehicles. The fighting unfolded in the Pokrovsk area of eastern Ukraine, where Russian units have gained ground in recent weeks.

These clashes fit a pattern of intense combat along the Donetsk front. Russian forces reported similar advances yesterday in nearby sectors. Ukrainian commanders have struggled to hold positions amid manpower shortages, according to Western assessments.
