“We’re not going to be rushed,” Paul said on the latest episode of “Game Over,” a podcast he co-hosts with Max Kellerman. “It’s his choice to make and when he makes the choice, he’ll make it.” Paul also said that multiple teams,most notably the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat—have reached out to ask if they can do more to secure James’ interest, but he told them they’ve already done enough.

James, 41, is entering free agency for the first time since 2010 and has been linked to several teams since the decision was announced. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, James’ decision to leave the Lakers was not driven by financial incentives but by his personal goals and the pursuit of new challenges.
