Among the notable contributions is the AED1 billion Mother of the Nation City project, launched through a collaboration between Awqaf Abu Dhabi and Eagle Hills, though this project recognizes the efforts of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. Known as the ‘Mother of the Nation,’ who has been instrumental in promoting generosity and care for orphans in UAE society, but the returns from this project will be dedicated to supporting the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans.
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Erth Zayed Philanthropies, praised the initiative’s success. He highlighted the strong engagement from individuals and institutions across the UAE, which culminated in the remarkable achievement of AED3.3 billion in contributions. He emphasized that this reflects the deeply rooted values of giving and solidarity in UAE society, as well as a shared sense of responsibility towards supporting those in need.

Significant contributions were made by several organizations and business leaders, and Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group International, contributed AED150 million, matched by a similar contribution from Emirates Red Crescent. Erth Zayed Philanthropies. Awqaf Abu Dhabi, Mubadala Investment Company, Aldar, Binghatti Holding, and others also made substantial contributions. Additional projects worth AED200 million were agreed upon with MAIR Group and Lulu Group International, while Manafie for Development and Investment and AlSayyah Group contributed AED100 million each.
