Infineon Technologies is stepping up its commitment to edge computing and artificial intelligence with a major presence at embedded world 2026, taking place March 10-12 in Nuremberg, Germany. At Hall 4A, Booth 138, the company will reveal its newest PSOC microcontrollers, development tools, and the DEEPCRAFT AI Suite. These innovations are designed to help engineers and developers streamline the creation of edge AI and power systems, reducing time-to-market for a wide range of applications.
ModusToolbox Power Suite: A Digital Power Revolution
Among the highlights will be the new ModusToolbox Power Suite, a thorough software platform tailored for digital power conversion designs based on the PSOC Control C3 microcontrollers. The suite includes power conversion libraries, graphical user interfaces, visualization tools, and application examples, all integrated into the ModusToolbox ecosystem.
According to Infineon, this platform enables faster time-to-market for digital power conversion applications, including data centers, telecommunications, industrial switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), electric vehicle (EV) chargers, robotics, and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ModusToolbox Power Suite simplifies the development process by offering a unified and user-friendly environment for evaluating and implementing power conversion designs.
PSOC Edge E84 Smart HMI Kit: Bridging AI and Human Interaction
The PSOC Edge E84 Smart HMI Kit will also be on display, aimed at developers working on next-generation machine learning (ML) edge devices. This kit supports rapid prototyping and evaluation of edge AI applications, offering a variety of sensors and interfaces that allow for application-centric design in human-machine interface (HMI) systems.
Infineon emphasizes that the E84 kit accelerates time-to-market by providing a strong ecosystem, thorough documentation, and smooth integration with the ModusToolbox software, including the DEEPCRAFT AI Suite. Demonstrations will include a smart thermostat application, showcasing the kit in a real-world use case.
DEEPCRAFT AI Suite: Streamlining Edge AI Development
Infineon will also demonstrate the PSOC Edge EVK and the DEEPCRAFT Studio, explaining how the platform simplifies the development of ML models for edge computing. The DEEPCRAFT AI Suite, a key component of the demonstration, is designed to ease the challenges of deploying edge AI in production environments.
Experts from Infineon will be on hand to discuss how the DEEPCRAFT AI Suite can help developers achieve their edge AI goals. Workshops on running DEEPCRAFT Edge AI models on PSOC Edge MCUs will take place on Thursday, March 12, at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM in Hall 3A, Booth 119, organized in partnership with Farnell.
Infineon will also feature three demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of the PSOC Control C3 MCUs, including a Hoover and liquid level demo that uses the PSOC 4 Multi-Sense solution. This solution integrates capacitive, inductive, and liquid level sensing into a single chip, highlighting Infineon’s CAPSENSE and intuitive sensing technologies.
Attendees can register for the workshops at https://uk.farnell.com/mc/farnell-exhibitions/2026/embedded-world/registration/infineon-edge-ai. In addition, visitors can take home a development kit while supplies last.
For those attending embedded world 2026, Infineon has also provided a Marketer’s Guide to embedded world, offering valuable insights for exhibitors and attendees looking to maximize their experience at the event.
