Wiltshire software firm MyMarketr.io has signed on as lead sponsor for the Big Highworth Community Foundation Awards. The event honors standout volunteers, charities and community groups in Highworth.
Co-founders Joe Tompkinson and Rob Curtis launched the platform in 2025. It offers small businesses, startups and sole traders automated tools with agency-grade marketing insights. Users get help with SEO, live performance data and content creation to boost online visibility—without breaking the bank or demanding endless hours.
“I won’t ever allow MyMarketr to become a faceless entity,” Tompkinson said. He credited early community backing for shaping the business. “When Alison asked if we wanted to be a sponsor, Rob and I jumped at the chance.”
The sponsorship covers special guests at the March 28 ceremony. Organizers announced performances by The Voice stars Billy & Louis, plus magic act Paul Knight. The night unfolds at Wrag Barn in Highworth.
Alison Boucheron-Cross, chair of trustees for the Big Highworth Community Foundation, welcomed the support. “Finding businesses that share our community values can be challenging,” she said. “We are humbled and grateful that MyMarketr are our sponsor this year.”
Tompkinson stressed the personal touch. His team spends long days at desks but values face-to-face connections. Sponsoring the awards lets MyMarketr give back to the area that fueled its start. It also spotlights services for local entrepreneurs facing tight budgets and thin marketing know-how.
The awards spotlight people and groups who drive Highworth forward. Categories cover exceptional volunteering and charity efforts. Past winners have included neighborhood clean-up crews and youth mentors.
MyMarketr.io targets pain points for new owners. Limited time? The platform automates posts and tracks results. Short on expertise? Built-in SEO guidance handles it. Curtis and Tompkinson built the tool from their own small-business struggles.
Boucheron-Cross called the partnership a perfect match. Both prioritize community roots over corporate detachment. Her foundation runs the awards annually to thank those who pitch in without fanfare.
Highworth sits northeast of Swindon in Wiltshire. The town boasts a tight-knit feel, with events like these drawing hundreds. Wrag Barn, a restored 18th-century site, hosts weddings, fairs and now this gala.
Tompkinson can’t hide his excitement. “We’re proud to support the Big Highworth Community Foundation Awards and to celebrate the people who make their community what it is,” he said. “We can’t wait.”
For MyMarketr, the move reinforces its local ties. The firm employs a handful of staff in Wiltshire and serves clients across the UK. Sponsorship doubles as a networking chance—minus the hard sell.
Tickets go on sale soon. Expect a mix of speeches, entertainment and applause for Highworth’s unsung heroes. MyMarketr’s backing ensures the night shines brighter.
