Format and Structure of the Tournament

The tournament is split into two main phases. The Group Stage (May 9,13) will feature a 16-team Swiss System with all matches played as Best of 3 (Bo3). The top 8 teams will advance to the knockout stage. The Playoffs (May 15,17) will follow a Single-elimination bracket, with Quarterfinals and Semifinals as Bo3 and the Grand Final as a Best of 5 (Bo5). A third-place playoff is also scheduled for the final day, according to Field Level Media.

On Sunday, several key results were recorded in the group stage. FURIA and Team Spirit both secured 2-0 sweeps. FURIA defeated Notable with a 13-4 win on Mirage and a 13-7 victory on Inferno. Team Spirit topped MongolZ with a 13-11 win on Dust II and a 19-16 win on Ancient. Teams and Prize Pool

A total of 16 teams are competing for the title: 11 based on the March VRS rankings and five from regional qualifiers. FURIA and Aurora Gaming are the heavy favorites, according to Esports Charts. The prize pool is distributed as follows: $256,000 for the winner, $120,000 for the runner-up, $96,000 for third place, $56,000 for fourth, $40,000 for places 5–8, $20,000 for 9,11, $12,000 for 12,14, and $8,000 for 15,16, according to Field Level Media.
