Jordan’s Dead Sea Tourist Beach has officially reopened after a major redevelopment project, transforming the site into a high-end family-friendly destination and strengthening the Dead Sea region’s appeal as a global tourism hotspot. The project, led by the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZ), aims to elevate the beach’s infrastructure and services to international standards.

The redevelopment of the Dead Sea Tourist Beach, formerly known as Amman Tourist Beach, covers around 240 dunums and can accommodate more than 4,500 visitors at a time. JFDZ signed a management and operation agreement with FHM Hospitality Management, a Jordanian company specializing in hotels, restaurants, and tourism services, to oversee the beach’s operations. JFDZ’s chair noted that the beach and the nearby Corniche projects are two key pillars in enhancing the area’s appeal.
