Giorgi Bachiashvili, once a top ally of Georgia's ruling party founder Bidzina Ivanishvili, walked free from a Tbilisi prison Friday after striking a plea agreement. The release came nearly nine months after his arrest on charges of misappropriating the billionaire's cryptocurrency and laundering money.
