The second Pre-University (II PU) examination started on Saturday across 51 centres in Mysuru district, with over 36,000 students registered for the exam. A central control room was established in Mysuru to monitor the examination process in real time. Shivaraj visited the control room and reviewed the webcasting proceedings, interacting with officials and mobile squads responsible for overseeing the exams.

To prevent malpractice, the police imposed prohibitory orders around all examination centres. All centres are equipped with CCTV cameras for continuous monitoring, and a sufficient number of security personnel have been deployed to ensure a secure environment for students and examiners alike.

Deputy Commissioner Shreerupa of Chamarajanagar district visited several II PU examination centres to review the arrangements and collect data on the number of students registered and those who appeared for the exam. In Chamarajanagar, out of 6,293 registered students, 6,173 appeared on the first day, with 120 remaining absent.

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Mona Roth inspected the webcasting arrangements in Chamarajanagar, ensuring that the system was functioning properly. Superintendent of Police Muthuraj also visited examination centres to assess the security measures in place and confirm that all protocols were being followed.

Pu Deputy Director Puttagowramma confirmed the attendance figures for Chamarajanagar, highlighting the high turnout and the effectiveness of the administrative and security preparations.
