In the video, Carter thanked fans and explained his departure: “2011 habe ich die Band verlassen, though Wir konnten uns nicht darauf einigen, welche kreative Richtung wir einschlagen wollten,” he said. Since leaving, Carter formed Pure Love and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, while the band continued with Wade MacNeil from Alexisonfire, but MacNeil is now back with Alexisonfire and has also formed Pig Pen.

Reunion Hints and Band Activity

The Open Flair Festival in Eschwege has released its full 2026 schedule for August 5 to 9; the festival spans seven stages and features a variety of genres including alternative, hip-hop, indie, and punk. Heike Rädeker’s Musical Journey

Bassist and multi-instrumentalist Heike Rädeker has been a staple of the Berlin music scene since the 1990s; Born in Dortmund in 1973, she moved to Santiago de Chile at four and later to Denmark. She played with bands like 18th Dye, who recorded with Steve Albini and performed for John Peel. Rädeker has also worked with The Jesus And Mary Chain and currently runs a guitar repair shop in Berlin. Her custom six-string bass has become a signature part of her sound.
