Most of Trump’s tariffs struck down by US Supreme Court

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Friday that President Donald Trump exceeded his authority by imposing global tariffs under the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the act does not authorize such presidential action.
