WWII Machete from Armidale Shed Ties to Late NSW Governor James Rowland
A World War II U.S. Air Force machete discovered in a northern New South Wales shearing shed has been traced to Sir James Rowland, the late governor of NSW and RAF bomber pilot. David Carrigan, who found the blade as a boy on his family's property, plans to donate it to a local museum.
