DR Congo begins Ebola vaccination trials for 50,000 health workers
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has started vaccinating frontline health workers in Ituri province against Ebola as the outbreak continues to spread. Some 50,000 workers will receive the Ervebo vaccine, developed for the Zaire strain, to assess its effectiveness against the Bundibugyo strain causing the current outbreak, according to aljazeera.com.
